All Friends Day and some other stuff

Okay,

It's been a couple of days now. I'm ready to talk.

Sean, you kind of hurt my feeling the other day. While I realize that this is no hard feat, but it still happened. It was about the Christmas present situation. I do not give you, or anyone, a gift on Christmas because I am celebrating Jesus's birthday. I simply do it because it is a tradition to give gifts on that day and I love giving my friends something that they enjoy. Also, I do not give gifts so that I may recieve them. The way you put it Sean, "Don't give me a gift, if you do, I'll have to give you a gift." That is hurtful. Not that I care about getting a gift, but I would appreciate it to not be a chore to get me something just because I got you something. If that is the case, I don't want to ever recieve a gift from you or anyone who thinks in the like. I want to get you a gift because I know it would make you happy to recieve something you didn't already have, that you would enjoy. You do not have to get me or Sheena anything at all. In fact, I am proposing something to alleviate the problem of Christmas and gift giving.

I call it All Friends Day. On some date, December 11th mayhaps, we will celebrate All Friends Day. This day is to commemerate the everlasting bonds of Friendship. To my closest friends, I would like to exchange tokens of our appreciations to each other. This is a good idea for me because I really can never wait to give you guys gifts, so early is good. I hope this will work. Nothing would make me happier than for me and my closest friends with whom I've shared so much got together. I love all of you and can't stay mad at anyone. Sean, I know you didn't mean to hurt me, but it did come out that way, at least I interpreted it that way. So, I hope All Friends Day is a compromise. I won't get you a Christmas present and you don't have to do anything at all. Just please continue to be one of my best friends. I need you guys and I don't want a life without you all.

Anyway, in more light hearted news, Sheena is getting a promotion! She will be the Front-End supervisor at the Ross on NorthWest Expressway and Belle Isle. Congradulations to her for all of her hard work. I would love to celebrate her promotion some time if anyone is available to do so.

Next, our car is in the shop, again! This is not such good news because it will end up costing us about $200. That is not exact, but it is a good estimate for the time being. As a response to the ever impending doom of our car, Scott has allowed me to borrow his truck. I've never driven a truck and this is indeed a new experience for me. It's big! I'm trying not to wreck it. That would be very BAD! It has no turning radius, I can't manipulate it like I did the Mitsubishi Mirage. I can't drive the other car like that either, but this is more difficult. So, everyone should be wishing me luck that I don't destroy the car or myself.

We will be moving on November 15th to November 30th. We've chosen this wide move in dates to facilitate the fact that we both work in retail and we're going to be freakin busy over the next few weeks. This will give us time to move and to clean the old apartment easily. Any help is welcomed, but we're going to move big stuff on a specific day that is good for everyone. Please send me dates in that time block that you would be willing to help. I thank you in advance for the gruelling work you will endure. I mean, I thank you in advance for all of the light, fluffy and cake-filled work you will recieve!

Nothing else is really in the works right now. Jeremy is taking vacation soon and my Third-Key is making a lot of mistakes. I'm worried, but It'll be ok. I got the Batman Begins 2-Disc DVD edition yesterday. Haven't watched it yet. I also got Red Vs. Blue Season 3. I hope it's good. I've heard some mixed reviews. Well, I'm going to go now. You all have a good day and stay safe from the Soulless Minions of Unorthodoxy!

Lost and Nerd Mating

I've recently been introduced to the television show Lost. I was skeptical at first, I mean, how interesting can 40 something people be on an island? Answer: Too interesting for my comfort. I absolutely love the show and I could not tell you why. It's just got the right mix of mystery and absolutely amazing drama. I'm hooked. I don't recommend anyone watching it if you can't afford an hour out of your Wednesday Evening at 8:00 PM on ABC. I would never tell anyone you should pick up Season 1 for your good friend Alex. I would never say anything like that. But anyway, I digress... Lost is a good show, and deserves all of those Emmy's it won.

You all are probably wondering why part of my title is "Nerd Mating". Well, last week, Scott and I went to Burger King for lunch and brought back a lot of ketchup packets for our fires. So, when we didn't use the many ketchup packets, we formed them into an Organic Molecule, only fitting. Well, we also tried stacking them in various ways. Our record was 12 packets stacked on top of each other. Well, another guy sitting with us at lunch, by name of Bryce, decided he needed more of a challenge. He started to stack them end by end. This was very difficult and he only managed 3 packets. Fast forward to this week. I got free food from Burger King becuase they put tomatoes on my burger after I asked them not to. Anyway, I brought some ketchup packets back and the stacking commenced. Bryce managed to get 4 packets end by end and I started talking like a National Geographic reporter. I said that the Male Nerd will sometimes stack ketchup packets to attract a Female Nerd Mate. Well, a few minutes later, the tower of ketchup packets fell down. Bryce started to build it and a girl came up to ask him about his Statics homework and took notice of his ketchup stacking abilities. She said that his tower was cool. So I jumped in and added that he did have it up to 4 packets. She said that it was sexy! I shit you not. She called the ketchup stacking sexy! She left and I gloated about how right I was about Nerd Mating rituals. I just thought that was funny. Hope you guys thought so too.

It' good to be alive

I'll make this short and sweet. I took a bath in Chromic acid a week ago. I'm ok. Nothing to worry about. Yes it hurt like hell and I'll never look at Chromic acid the same way again. Oh, and when in High School labratory, they told us not to touch the safety showers, it's because they didn't want the temperature in the room to drop, not to not make a mess. I've figured it out, it's a punishment in the form of safety. They tell you to take your shirt off and put your face and head under the shower and open your eyes. This is the safety, but when freezing water comes rolling into every pore of your being, you would rather be eaten alive by the acid.

I got a 79% on my Organic Chemistry Test 2, YAH!!!!! At first I wasn't so happy, mainly because Scott got a much better score than I did, 102%, but now I'm happy that I'm doing better in the class. It's still guesswork though.

Today was a long day, and I'm actually looking forward to doing some homework, isn't that wierd? Maybe that Chromic Acid went to my brain and brainwashed me. Oh well, maybe I'll do better in class now.

I spent some time with Sean yesterday, I forgot how much I missed him. I miss a lot of people, I wish Richard would have been home, that would have been fun too.

One of my Xbox 360 lauch games got pushed back, that doesn't make me happy, because it was Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, an awesome game. It was only by 15 days, I suppose I don't have to kill their CEO yet...

Well, it was fun, but I'm going to do some work, bye all.
